How To Set Up Gradebook In Powerschool

Notation: You have to do this for every new grade. These settings are non copied when you copy a grade.

Setup grades in PowerTeacher Pro

You lot've probably already done this, simply it is a good time to bank check that your grades are setup correctly in PowerTeacher Pro. You can do that in PowerTeacher Pro by clicking on Settings and Traditional Form Calculations. Click the pointer next to your class and verify that it looks like this for a semester long class –it should contain each of the reporting terms below and each reporting term should take the formula type shown. But if y'all have a hexamester form you should have H1 with Category Weighting.

Then click on the edit pencil and verify that the categories yous want are nowadays and in percentages that match the grading guidelines.

Make any changes every bit needed. Don't forget to cheque out both quarters for a semester class. These are the categories that we will be syncing between Sail and PowerSchool, so it'southward of import that they are setup the style you want. Sync the PowerSchool categories in Canvas

Alter the assignment grouping weights

Alter the weights to be the same ones you lot used in PowerTeacher Pro and click the blue Save button. This will make the concluding grade in Sail closer to the final form in PowerSchool.
